Here are some common questions about Lin Music Lessons.

What do the music lessons consist of?

I design a custom curriculum to help the student achieve his or her goal.

How long is the lesson? And how often?

Lessons are usually 30 minutes long. I suggest having a lesson once a week gives the student time to practice and absorb the material. I can accommodate longer lessons upon request.

How often should I practice?

Practice as much as you can, the progress depends on it. By practicing short sessions a few times per day you can learn fast. “Perfect practice makes perfect!”

How long does it take for me to be able to play?

It depends on how often the student practices and their ability to absorb the material. Most beginner students can play basic tunes within 3 – 6 months.

Do I have to learn everything in your curriculum? What if I just want to learn how to play?

Our curriculum is an overall view for students who don’t have specific goals. I can custom design curriculum towards the student’s needs.

What is my rate?

How does payment work for lessons?

I accept cash, checks, Venmo, PayPal, and Zelle.

What is your cancellation policy?

For cancellations, please notify me 24 hours in advance. If a student fails to show for a lesson without notifying me, that student is responsible for the payment of that lesson.
