I’ve been helping students learn music in Camarillo, California since 2005. My goal is to make lessons feel relaxed, encouraging, and practical—especially for adults who are starting for the first time or returning to music after years away.

Every student learns differently, so I build each lesson around your goals, musical interests, and experience. There’s no one-size-fits-all curriculum. We can work on the songs you want to play while developing technique, rhythm, music reading, theory, improvisation, and the confidence to play with other musicians or create music of your own.

Guitar is my primary instrument, but I also teach piano, ukulele, composition, and music production to students of all ages. Just as importantly, I’ll help you develop efficient practice habits so you know exactly what to work on between lessons—and can make progress without spending hours practicing.

I hold a Bachelor of Music from California State University, Northridge and an Associate of Arts in Guitar Performance from Musicians Institute.

Outside of teaching, I compose and produce music for film, television, and video games. My work has been licensed for programs on Netflix, Amazon Prime, MTV, National Geographic, HGTV, and more.
